Hotel Forton (former Hotel Energetik) is newly refurbished to a high standard, in accord with demands of the modern guest. The interior is furnished in a light modern style.
The hotel is located in Stara Lesna, 2 km off Tatranska Lomnica and 5 km from Stary Smokovec.
Accommodation
Hotel Forton provides accommodation in:
- 22 double rooms, part of them with an extra bed possibility (for children up to 5 years of age). Every double room includes a bathroom with a shower or a bath tub, and is equipped with a TV SAT, radio. Rooms with balconies feature also a view on the High Tatra Mountains.
- 4 family rooms, each consitis of a bedroom, living room and (of course) a bathroom. The living room includes an extensible sofa for 2 persons.
- 4 deLuxe apartments (2 persons with possible 1-2 extra beds), a strongbox, minibar, internet connection and a hair dryer.
- deLuxe family apartment with separate entrance and a kitchenette
- Relax apartment with a winter garden upstairs - wonderful view on the Tatras
- Apartment for disabled guests
Boarding
Restaurant offers a choice of quality meals from both slovak and international cuisine. The guests can order half-board or full-board.
Hotel Forton became well-known
for its' quality boarding and an extensive offer of wines. The guests can enjoy a cup of hot coffee or a mixed drink on the sunny terrace. There is also a gazebo in the garden that seats up to 80 persons, equipped with a lighting and sound system. The open outdoor fireplace is a great venue for a grill or garden party (Grill basket is available for purchase at the reception).
