The Low Tatras belong to the most beautiful tourist regions of Slovakia. The highest peaks Dumbier (2043 a.s.l.) and Chopok (2024 a.s.l.) are situated in the central part of the main crest. The Low Tatras centre - Tale is an attractive ski and tourist resort. It is characteristic by meadows, steep braes and coniferous growth which is in attitude of 1600 m replaced by dwarf pines and stony crests.
The Tale resort has perfect conditions for skiing in winter and for hiking in spring, summer and autumn
