Hotel Smokovec is situated in the geographic centre of the High Tatras, in Stary Smokovec. Of all the settlements in the area, it offers the best travel connections by electric train or intercity coach service. The hotel lies not far from the bus and train stations, though protected from their noise. After its refurbishment, the hotel offers a wide range of services.

Accommodation is available in 24 two-bed rooms, 3 three-bed rooms, 3 four-bed rooms and in one apartment suite -- altogether 71 permanent beds. All rooms have private facilities, satellite television, radio, telephone and refrigerator with minibar.
